I have known that Margaux and Dan’s wedding would be lovely to photograph from the time I met them. What they both cared most about was the ceremony itself and their two very large and close families who love spending time together. And having seen these two jolly families party together, it was easy to see why on their second date Dan would ask Margaux how many children she wanted and why Margaux would totally understand why he asked!
Their day began at the Drury Inn where Margaux and her attendants (all sisters and nieces of course) had their makeup done by Heather Wolff and their hair styled by their old friend Karen McKay from Hair Benders Salon. The bridesmaids looked lovely in their Amsale gowns from Bella Bridesmaids , and Margaux was absolutely radiant in her Paloma Blanca gown from The Ultimate Bride.
Margaux and Dan had spent a lot of time planning their ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with the help of Father Richard Rath and Msgr. Jack Shuler who are close family friends, and it showed. The beautiful choral music was courtesy of Margaux’s mother’s choir, the St. Ferdinand Singers, and Dan's cousins and Margaux’s sister also sang beautiful solos. All of the guests were charmed by their nine youngest cousins who served as their flower girls and ring bearers carrying darling flowers designed by Lori Brickler from By Special Arrangement.
Between all of the beautiful Christmas decorations at Norwood Hills Country Club and Lori Brickler’s gorgeous table arrangements, the reception could not have been any prettier or more fun. In addition to a cigar bar from STL Cigars, they treated their guests to a scotch bar and limoncello made by Margaux’s father from the lemons at the house in Tucson, Arizona. Push the Limit and a DJ from Millennium Productions provided the music that kept all three generations on the dance floor until well after midnight.
Margaux and Dan, with their careful attention to faith, family, and fun are one of those couples who make me feel that our future is secure. Congratulations to you both!
