There is something really sweet that everyone cherishes about those couples who have the great good fortune to find the love of their lives when they are still young. Mia and Kyle’s romance began in high school, and it was so obvious that they were perfect for each other that most of their family and friends assumed early on that they would someday be married. There was something just so charming and magical about their love that made everyone at their wedding happy and in the mood to celebrate.
Their wedding day was beautiful one and began at the Four Seasons Hotel where they got ready and had their first look. Mia looked stunning in her Watters and Watters gown, and her bridesmaids were lovely in their Jenny Yoo gowns. Following a quick trip to Lafayette Park for formal photos, they went to Bissinger’s Caramel Room for the wedding and reception.
Mia and Kyle really didn’t care about their wedding being “perfect,” although it was. What they were most interested in was all their family and friends having fun. Because the weather was so lovely that day, the ceremony and dancing were both on the rooftop overlooking the Mississippi River and the St. Louis skyline. The gorgeous colorful flowers by Twisted Willow were as beautiful during the ceremony against the skyline and on the tables inside where dinner was served. Mia and Kyle love to dance, and they chose Rockstar DJ for their music - a great choice since I don’t think any of their friends left the dance floor all night. And I would like to give a shout out to my two wonderful assistant photographers and their many inspired photographs that day - Brent Holzapfel and Guy Shaw. This wedding was lots of fun to photograph, and I think the three of us may have had more fun photographing it than the guests did dancing wildly in the moonlight.
Congratulations to you both! May all your days be sunny and bright!
