Rainbows are always a surprise. You can’t predict them. You can’t plan for them. When one magically appears following a lovely wedding, all you can do is give a nod to the heavens – and start searching for the always-elusive pot of gold at the end.
When just such a rainbow appeared following Kevin and Beverly’s April wedding, the search didn’t take long. To find his pot of gold, all Kevin had to do was gaze over at his beautiful bride, where he was met with her brilliant smile -- the same one she wore walking down the aisle just a short while earlier on her father’s arm.
Beverly’s smile, in fact, was everywhere that day. It made the perfect accessory to her Gucci couture gown and her bridesmaids’ assorted gowns by Bella Bridesmaid. It similarly complemented every setting on her wedding day – from the Gothic woodwork at Webster Hills United Methodist Church, to the classic elegance at Bellerive Country Club.
The Cakery did a fabulous job of reflecting the simple beauty of Beverly’s dress in the couple’s wedding cake. Samantha from Cosmopolitan Events, likewise, demonstrated that it is possible to transform a formal ballroom, including tables bathed in white flowers from Ken Meisner, into a colorful, fun-loving Cinco De Mayo-themed celebration, complete with sombreros and maracas. Charles Glen took time off from singing the national anthem for the St. Louis Blues to entertain the crowd with his band. The “fiesta” that ensued was the perfect end to a perfect day.
Congratulations Beverly and Kevin, and may your days always be filled with beautiful smiles!
