Leslie and Rob got married on a beautiful June day at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church surrounded by family, friends, and all of Leslie’s adorable second grade students from St. Peters School. The students, wearing their First Communion finery, were all as much in love with Leslie as her husband was, and it was easy to see why - Leslie’s genuine love and concern for everyone around her made the wedding day an absolute pleasure. Equally caring and generous, Rob, had gone to a lot of trouble to make the perfect proposal - not an easy task because, like most teachers, Leslie notices everything and is hard to surprise. Knowing that family is everything to his sentimental bride, he arranged to have both families on stand by while he popped the question at the home where Leslie grew up. Then he surprised her with a dinner party at Cunneto’s Restaurant where Leslie’s father had proposed to her mother many years before.
The wedding day itself was perfect thanks to their calm and competent wedding planner, Barbara Hoover. Leslie was stunning in a beautiful gown from Berrybridge, and her bridesmaids were lovely in their coral dresses from Bella Bridesmaid. The charming nosegays of pink cabbage roses on the pews and the vases of pink and white hydrangeas on the altar, as well as gorgeous arrangements for the tables at the reception that followed at The Saint Louis Club were all designed by Bloomin’ Buckets. Sitting Pretty provided the linens for the ballroom, and Encore Baking Company made the beautiful wedding cake. After Rob led Leslie to the dance floor for their first dance to the sounds of the J. Rob Band, the dance floor opened for all their guests to rock the night away. Gelato del Riso provided a wonderful surprise treat for all the guests later in the evening, and a cloud of confetti provided the perfect send-off for these adorable newlyweds.
Congratulations to you both!
